Our Staff
Our dedicated and passionate staff at the XyayX Institute are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. With their diverse backgrounds and expertise, our staff members bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for education to the XyayX Institute. They are dedicated to nurturing our students' academic growth, personal development, and social consciousness.Here are some of the talented individuals who make up our team:
Professor Robins: Chair of our ELA Department, teaching ELA to 7th-12th graders. With a master's degree in literature composition and rhetoric and 15 years of teaching experience with AP ELA.

Mark "Mr. DOT" Morrishow: Science, and STEM Teacher (2nd-7th Grade) with a 10+ year background in audio engineering and 15+ years in building maintenance.

Professor Irene Yvette: Social studies professor, author and activist with a background in Afro-diasporic History and Biological Sciences. Sits on the Racial Justice Board of the United Way, Co-organizer of the BCF and Black Cultural Initiative as well as the People’s Collective.
Sister Stella: Head Teacher for our K-1 class, teaching Math, Science, STEM, and Technical Design. She has 6 years of teaching experience in grades K-5 and is also an Activity Specialist.
Brother Nemo: E.L.A and Social studies Teacher who studied at Morgan State University and specializes in community engagement.
Professor Freedman: Math Teacher for grades 2-7, with a strong background in mathematics and experience as a math tutor.
Professor Don: Technical Design Teacher with expertise in art, mural painting, and CAD design. He produces our online Tinkercad videos.
Professor Domo: Health Teacher with a background in natural path and holistic treatments.
Professor Empress Idhama: ELA and Social Justice Teacher with 15 years of experience working with grades K-5. She is a published musician and a respected matriarch in the community.
Professor Domo: Social Justice Teacher with a degree in Political Science and expertise in debate and political discourse.
Professor Kaosarat: Kindergarten - 8th grade social studies teacher. Currently enrolled at Morgan state college for early childhood education.
Sister Lakha: Physical Education Teacher with a background in physical rehabilitation.
Brother Q (Professor Q): Science, Math, STEM, and Social Justice Teacher with a background in audio and electrical engineering. He studied astrophysics at Medgar Evers College and has 10 years of experience in education.
